Luck of the Irish at El Camino Ranch!
The Luck of the Irish was certainly at El Camino Ranch this St.Partrick’s Day! Boarders and riding academy students all came together to celebrate and have fun with food, decorating horses, and to watch a mini mock St.Patrick’s Day horse show!
The girls combed manes, painted hooves, and placed decorations with care. Some Horses sported hand painted designs, while others were adorned with ribbons and glitter. While each girl had their own horse to paint, none shied from helping each other to complete the task.
Everyone enjoyed a spread of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots as the girls painted away on the horses. As a community, everyone gathered in and near the large arena to watch the girls show off their best designs on the horses!
The girls walked their horses individually for the judging. Then as a group everyone did a full lap around the arena. Prizes weren’t far off for these lucky 7 girls! Each girl was the lucky winner today, receiving a free riding lesson for participating in the show! The luck of the Irish was certainly present on St.Patrick’s Day at El Camino Ranch!
